I was thoroughly impressed with the warm service. The staff's attentiveness. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from CBD attractions, and my queen room was clean and tidy.

This cheap hotel was an excellent base for one night. Nice team on shift. The rooms were extremely spacious and huge with comfortable bed, you feel like home. The breakfast was well prepared and extensive with lots of great options. The location was favourable, minutes away from a vibrant gallery.

There was bar missing, I was a little disappointed.

Great location, but noisy nights

The West Plaza Hotel boasts a superb location right in the heart of the city. The spacious rooms are generally well-appointed and the staff were really good during check-in.

Unfortunately, my nights were disrupted by the noise from a neighboring hotel that started playing loud music as early as 4:30 am. While the hotel itself was quiet, this external noise rendered sleep quite difficult on multiple occasions, disappointing. The paintwork in my room appeared quite dated and could do with some refreshing.

Convenient location, comfortable room. The hotel's location is amazing as it is just a short walk from numerous restaurants and the waterfront, and the room was equipped with essential amenities like a tv and coffee-making facilities.

fantastic central spot for exploring wellington's gems

I loved how easy it was to stroll around the city since the hotel was right in the heart of everything, and we were just a few steps away from the vibrant waterfront and the amazing Te Papa museum, made our weekend full of fun discoveries.
